Planning to bring your family from the Philippines to Dubai, or need a fresh visa while you stay in the UAE? A Kabayan Package from EEC Travels puts the visa, travel papers and support in one place. This guide covers what is included, who it is for, and how first-time travellers can prepare properly.

Genuine travellers only

EEC Travels strictly opposes human trafficking, illegal recruitment and any travel for undocumented work. We assist only genuine tourists and family visitors. We may refuse any application that does not look like a real holiday or family visit. EEC Travels does not issue visas; visas are issued by UAE authorities through official sponsors.

What is a Kabayan Package?

It is a bundle of travel services for Filipinos. It helps OFWs in the UAE welcome parents, a spouse, children or siblings. It also helps Kabayans already in the UAE renew their tourist status the right way.

  • UAE tourist visa — 30 or 60 days, single or multiple entry, through official UAE sponsors. Normal processing is usually 2–3 working days. Urgent processing is also available.
  • Flight reservation — a verifiable airline booking for visa documentation where needed.
  • Travel insurance — medical cover issued through approved providers.
  • Document check — we review the papers before your family leaves the Philippines.
  • Visa change by bus — for Kabayans already in the UAE on a tourist visa.

Part 1: Bringing family from the Philippines to Dubai

Most families start with a 30-day or 60-day UAE tourist visa. Send us a clear passport copy (valid for at least 6 months) and a photo with a white background. Children need a birth certificate copy. Once UAE authorities approve the visa, it is emailed to you.

Papers to carry at the airport in Manila, Cebu or Clark

  • Philippine passport, valid for at least 6 months
  • Printed UAE tourist visa
  • Confirmed return or onward flight booking
  • Proof of relationship to the sponsor (PSA birth or marriage certificate)
  • The sponsor's UAE residence visa, Emirates ID copy and proof of job or income
  • Address in the UAE or hotel details, and enough funds for the trip
  • Affidavit of Support and Guarantee (AOSG), if your relative is sponsoring the trip — check the current rules with the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate in Dubai

Philippine immigration officers decide who may leave. No agency can guarantee clearance. Complete and honest papers give you the best chance.

Part 2: Help for first-time and young travellers

Young first-time travellers often get more questions at departure. This is normal. Officers want to protect Filipinos from trafficking and illegal recruitment. We support this, and we help genuine travellers prepare properly:

  • We explain which papers match your real purpose of travel
  • We help you build a clear and true travel itinerary
  • We check that the visa, flights and stay details all match
  • We advise on proof of funds and ties to the Philippines, such as school, work or business

Starting with another Asian country. Some genuine first-time travellers prefer to visit another Asian country first, such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore or Vietnam, and then continue to Dubai. This only works as a real holiday plan with real bookings. Never use it to hide your purpose of travel. Always answer immigration questions honestly. We will not help anyone mislead an immigration officer.

Part 3: Kabayan visa change by bus

Already in the UAE on a tourist visa and want a new visa? For Filipinos, we recommend visa change by bus. You travel by coach to the Oman border, get a new UAE tourist visa, and come back. It is affordable, organised and simple.

  • Pickup points in Dubai and Sharjah
  • Comfortable coach with an experienced team
  • New 30-day or 60-day UAE tourist visa through official sponsors
  • Book before your current visa ends so you don't pay overstay fines

Want to extend inside the UAE instead? This is possible only through the agency that issued your current visit visa. People on a grace period after cancelling a residence visa cannot extend inside. They must exit, or change status through a new job or family sponsor.

No. Philippine immigration makes that decision. We help you prepare complete, honest papers, which give you the best chance.

Do you help first-time travellers?
